So you are looking to edit the Crosshairs_Animations and all you have to do to activate the crosshair flash color on damage is uncomment both lines that say // Animate "CustomCrosshair" ....... by removing the // for both lines so if you hnow have this:
// Animate "CustomCrosshair" ......
You want to get this:
Animate "CustomCrosshair" .....
As easy as that, for the colors you can easily change them from the colors.res file always inside the customization folder, you wanna change the rgb code color for "Crosshair" which stands for the normal crosshair color and "Crosshair Pulse" which stands for the crosshair color when you hit someone

Linux could very well be the problem there, I was told the hud did at least launch fine with some minor problems and thats the main reason why its flagged as linux compatible. You could try changing every file to be lowercase since linux doesn't seem to work with uppercase letters but other that than I don't think I can help much there sorry!

im not sure if this is just an issue that affects me, but both this HUD and Sunset HUD cause the game to freeze for around half the second when i access any menu(casual map screen, backpack, each class's loadout etc.) for the first time in the session and it can get annoying.

I deleted the animations that made the hitmarkers work by mistake when i updated the hud crosshairs, they should again work now!

I'm not too sure about this but i think it could be caused by the hd loadout images, if you want you could try opening backpack.res,
ClassLoadoutPanel.res, ItemSelectionPanel.res and inside each one of these files you want to look for "inventory_image_type" and set its value to "0"

Hey Hypnotise,
I really love your HUD and I think you very well creating it. But there are 2 labels in the scoreboard that I miss: The backstab-, and the kill-label. I would really appreciate it, if you could add both of them into the scoreboard.
